l  golden fleece In Greek mythology, the Golden Fleece is the fleece of the gold-hair winged ram, which was held in Colchis. The fleece is a symbol of authority and kingship. It figures in the tale of the hero Jason and his band of Argonauts, who set out on a quest for the fleece by order of King Pelias, in order to place Jason rightfully on the throne of Iolcus in Thessaly. Through the help of Medea, they acquire the Golden Fleece. The story is of great antiquity and was current in the time of Homer (eighth century BC). It survives in various forms, among which the details vary.

l  希臘三一律: 亞里士多德將古希臘戲劇的特點歸納於三一律，即時間的一致，地點的一致和表演的一致。古希臘戲劇的情節通常只發生在一天之內，地點也不變換。在情節上也往往只有一條主線，不允許其他支線情節存在。亞里斯多德的提出「三一律」理論的初衷在於描述一種客觀的形式，而非規定一種理想狀態。並非所有的古希臘戲劇都遵循刻板的「三一律」，但這一理論適用於絕大多數情況。
